Nicotine salt liquids for pod fans: what works (80 W)
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Scotland, covering aftercare, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
Local availability in Scotland shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. Airflow control on the AEKU Slim is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank.
The Scotland market for nicotine salt liquids has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. The build quality on AEKU Slim is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.
We would pair the AEKU Slim with a 35:65 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 0.15 Ω dual mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. Flavour tracking stays consistent from the first day to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the profile flattens and a swap makes sense.
The Stealth Grey finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 bottom pin takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. For pod fans, the learning curve is shorter than the specification list suggests, and daily use is straightforward from the first charge.
Expect roughly 527 full puffs from a charge at 3 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Scotland is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Blueberry Muffin: creamy, sweet, described as baked blueberry with a soft crumb. On a 35:65 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 0.15 Ω dual mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Scotland
Availability in Scotland is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 0.15 Ω dual mesh and the Micro-USB are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 bottom pin matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Availability shifts often, so check the current listing before committing to a large order.
