Beginners Nicotine salt liquids shortlist (65 W)
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Scotland, covering buying guide, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
The Scotland market for nicotine salt liquids has grown steadily, and the choice on offer now is genuinely broad. Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation.
We spent weeks putting nicotine salt liquids options through their paces so the recommendations here reflect real use. Battery behaviour is where the Wismec Reuleaux earns its keep: the 5000 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 90 and recharges over USB-C.
Airflow control on the Wismec Reuleaux is adjustable enough to move from a warm, restrained draw to something far more open without removing the tank. Vapour production is more than adequate at 90, and pushing beyond that adds heat rather than anything worth carrying. Materials are unremarkable on paper and feel reassuringly solid in the hand, with no flex in the body at all.
The 1.6 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. Expect roughly 479 full puffs from a charge at 10 mg/ml, based on average session length in our testing. Delivery across Scotland is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
The Emerald finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily. Worth noting that the 510 thread takes a small amount of care to keep clean, which we cover in the maintenance section below. Delivery across Scotland is typically two to four working days with tracked dispatch, and returns are straightforward within the standard window.
Two things to check before ordering: the USB-C socket on the base and whether the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help. The build quality on Wismec Reuleaux is a step above most of what sits in the same price bracket, and the finish resists the chipping that usually shows after a few months of pocket carry.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Frozen Berry Sorbet: sweet, icy, described as cold berry inhale with a soft exhale. On a 65:35 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Scotland
Availability in Scotland is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the USB-C are both in stock before committing, and check that the 510 thread matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
