Everything about Nicotine salt liquids in Scotland: Faq
Nicotine salt liquids advice for Scotland, covering aroma, what to look for and where the trade-offs actually sit.
There is no single best nicotine salt liquids for everyone in Scotland, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling something. The instruction booklet is thin, but the diagrams are clear enough that most people set the device up without further help.
Local availability in Scotland shapes the practical answer more than the marketing does. The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own.
The included spare coils are useful for the first fortnight, after which you will be ordering your own. What surprised us most was how little the 1.0 Ω mesh coil changes the draw character compared with the 30:70 PG/VG liquid sitting in the chamber. The Graphite finish hides fingerprints far better than the gloss options, which matters more than it sounds on a device handled daily.
Charging over Type-C fast charge takes about 74 from empty, and the pass-through means the device can be used while plugged in on the smaller batteries. Two things to check before ordering: the Type-C fast charge socket on the base and whether the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the newer generation. Battery behaviour is where the Robust Pro earns its keep: the 1500 mAh cell holds a usable charge for most of a day at 60 and recharges over Type-C fast charge.
The 4.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem. We would pair the Robust Pro with a 30:70 PG/VG liquid, which is where the balance between throat hit and cloud density sits most comfortably. Replacement coils are widely available, and the 1.0 Ω mesh coil is the sensible default to keep in stock.
The silicone tip mouthpiece is comfortable over long sessions and resists the condensation that gathers on narrower tips. Comparing this against a 30:70 PG/VG setup shows the difference clearly: one favours flavour, the other favours volume. The 4.0 ml capacity is a genuinely useful middle ground: enough liquid for a long session without turning the device into a pocket problem.

Flavour and performance notes
A representative profile is Vanilla Custard: creamy, rich, described as warm vanilla bean with a smooth cream finish. On a 30:70 PG/VG ratio this reads clearly on the first day and holds its character to roughly the 1.0 Ω mesh mark before the coil begins to mute it.
Practical considerations in Scotland
Availability in Scotland is the factor that decides most outcomes here. Confirm the 1.0 Ω mesh and the Type-C fast charge are both in stock before committing, and check that the magnetic contact matches your existing device if you already own hardware. Duty and GBP rates move, so treat prices as current rather than fixed.
Our advice is to order one, use it for a fortnight, and only then decide whether to stock up.
